Guard Your Gates: Reclaiming Truth During the “Holiday” Season -By Xave D. Morgan | November 202

Image
As I continue to dive deeper into philosophy , spiritual etymology , and the origin of global traditions , my studies keep leading me back to a core truth: Much of what we’ve been taught to celebrate was never built with us in mind. I’m talking about the “holidays”—yes, holi-days —that were sold to us as moments of gratitude, family, and joy... but were rooted in violence , greed , and whitewashed revisionism . And as I grow in wisdom, I can no longer unsee what I now know. I am the descendant of the manipulated, the mocked, the massacred, and the enslaved . And the veil is officially lifted . Thanksgiving? Or Thanks-Taking? Since 1970, many Indigenous people in America have rightfully recognized “Thanksgiving” not as a celebration, but as a National Day of Mourning held in Plymouth, Massachusetts—the site of early colonizer arrival and violent land theft. The sanitized version of Thanksgiving—Pilgrims and Natives “sharing a meal”—was fabricated to soothe collective guilt a...

" From Hobbyist to Economic Engine: Why It Takes All of Us " — by Xave D. Morgan | September 2025

Image
A few months back, I heard one of my mentors say something that struck a nerve—in the best way possible. He said the difference between a thriving community economy and a struggling one often lies in whether the hobbyist stays in their comfort zone… or evolves into a business owner . He was absolutely right. And ever since, I’ve been reflecting on what that actually means—not just for the individual entrepreneur, but for the entire community ecosystem . Because while it's true that hobbyists have a responsibility to grow, learn, and build... it’s equally true that they cannot do it alone. The Real Difference: Hobbyist vs. Business Owner A hobbyist has passion, no doubt. They show up, offer something meaningful, and often sow good energy into the community. But without structure, without understanding compliance, without applying basic business principles—what they’re doing is fragile. Temporary. Vulnerable to burnout, lack of access, and financial failure. When that same per...

"Business Is the Heartbeat of Every Industry" — by Xave D. Morgan | August 2025

Image
As we prepare to step into a new season of 2025, I’ve been deeply reflecting—not just on what I’ve accomplished, but on what continues to fuel the work I’ve been called to do. One truth remains clear: " Business is the heartbeat of every industry." - LadyCEO The Unseen Engine Behind Every Field Think about a university campus. One institution, yet multiple colleges—Engineering, Agriculture, Health Sciences, Communications, Education, Humanities—all equipping students for their chosen professions. And while every discipline has its own language and function, they all rely on one core infrastructure to thrive: business . Whether you’re a scientist in a lab, a nurse in a clinic, a teacher in a classroom, or an artist on stage— your work still enters into the flow of commerce, resources, sustainability, and economic impact. And when I began my deeper studies in economics and finance , it all clicked. No matter the industry, no matter the title— the principles of business ar...

The Table Ain’t Yours—Flip It and Walk Away

Image
We work so hard—day in and day out—trying to prove ourselves in life and in our careers. Battling imposter syndrome. Silencing doubt. Overcoming character flaws that were never flaws to begin with—just mislabelings of our brilliance by people who never understood our light. And in the process, many of us spend years trying to earn a seat at tables that were never meant for us. But here’s the truth: Some of you still want seats at a table God would have wanted you to flip. See, everyone loves the verse— “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies” (Psalm 23:5). But what if the focus was never supposed to be on the enemies, but on the table that God is preparing for you ? That table? That’s where nourishment, peace, purpose, and alignment are served. Not gossip. Not manipulation. Not status. Not control. Some of us are so hungry for belonging that we’ll take a seat at a table that serves food that poisons our soul—and we call it opportunity. But don’t forget: ...

You Don’t Have Imposter Syndrome Anymore—Here’s Why That Scares Folks

Image
By Xave D. Morgan | Profit In Your Purpose, Breaking Chains & Building Wealth I’ve dealt with  imposter syndrome  for  years . Quietly. Behind the scenes. Smiling while second-guessing myself. Showing up, even when I didn’t feel “qualified” enough to speak, lead, create, or shine. But something shifted. Today, I no longer carry that weight. I’ve defeated it. And what a plot twist—because now that I’m walking boldly in my light, I’ve noticed that there are people who feel the need to dim it. They say: “Don’t say too much.” “You’re too passionate.” “You sound emotional.” “Try to be more polished.” “You come across a little too strong.” And what they don’t realize is this: They are being used to test me. To test whether or not I’ve truly left imposter syndrome behind. To see if I will silence myself again just to make them comfortable. Spoiler alert: I won’t. The Misunderstood Glow-Up People mistake my passion for aggression. My assertiveness for being “too emotio...

The Shift: Mid-Year. My Birth Month. My Power. My Assignment.

Image
I had to shake the olive branch. And not gently either—this shake came with the full force of a woman who finally realized that she’s not just called… she’s chosen . Between the last time I sat here to pour out my truth and now, something shifted in me—no, everything shifted in me. My power has stepped to the front of the stage. My fear? It’s been escorted off the premises, and I’m confident I’ll never see it in that same form again. And for that , I’m proud. For that, I am firmly rooted in my assignment . I am no longer bending to the will of people who didn’t create me. I am no longer subscribing to the projections of what others think I should be doing with my life, my talents, or my time. I’m not here to check off man-made boxes or meet fabricated deadlines of so-called success. I'm here on assignment—from the Most High. And I’m no longer afraid to edify that. I’ll shout it from the rooftops if I have to. This is June 2025 . Half the year is behind us—and for me, the othe...
