🌱 Spring into Success: A New Season for Small Businesses 🌱

To the Purposed people I serve in the Entrepreneur and Small Business Ecosystem!

Listen, we made it through March, honey! SMH (I think lol) 😵‍💫 If you see or speak to me on a weekly basis, YOU KNOW THE REAL DEAL—and let me tell you, this retrograde did the absolute most this season 🤧. If you know, you know. BUT! It ALL worked out for your good- if you let it..

Honestly, it’s been some heavy lifting down here in Southside Virginia. Many businesses in the ecosystem are preparing for the amazing opportunities that the new casino will bring, and let me tell you—it’s a grind! 💪🏾

You know, there’s something about being affiliated with big names and sitting in boardrooms where decisions get made about the ecosystem of Petersburg. That’s one thing. But it’s a whole different grind being in the trenches, face-to-face with the minority-owned small businesses and entrepreneurs too! (less than 250 employees) who make it all come together—who put in the hard work, sweat, and tears, day in and day out. The truth is, while they’re building and growing, they’re also taking the biggest losses. It’s humbling, and I don’t take it lightly.

I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all the small businesses I’ve worked with throughout the years. Thank you for trusting me with your purpose, your vision, and your dreams—especially the ones that some folks might’ve called silly or impossible at one point. Thank you for believing in me to support you and help you profit in your purpose.

And listen... I’m still on the hunt for that clone machine I joke about needing all the time 🤣😂. Until then, I’m just gonna keep praying every day, all day—because that’s what keeps me grounded and able to keep moving.
